This is the 2023 edition of the popular “JETRO Trade Handbook,” a “deskside manual” with useful information for international business personnel engaged in trade and other activities when they need to do a “little research” in the workplace.

The glossary of trade practice terms is also useful for exam preparation. You may not find a comprehensive list of contacts for international business-related organizations and inspection bodies anywhere else.

JETRO（Japan External Trade Organization). is an independent administrative corporation established in 2003 to support the international expansion of medium-sized enterprises, etc.
It is an administrative organisation with local offices in 74 overseas locations and 48 in Japan that works to promote trade among Japanese companies by publishing reports on overseas business information and holding trade practice seminars.
